Aubrey Plaza

Aubrey Plaza, born on June 26, 1984, is an actor and comedian known for her dry humorous sense of humor. She is the character April Ludgate on Parks and Recreation. The web series that she made her debut on was the Jeannie Tate Show after she did improv and sketch and slapstick comedy at Upright Citizens Brigade Theater Plaza. Her later work experience saw her became a star on Judd Apatow Funny People, Scott Pilgrim and the World. Today is her birthday. Aubrey Christina Plaza, daughter of Bernadette Plaza (an attorney) and David Plaza (a financial specialist), was born on Wilmington Delaware. Her father and mother were both born in Ireland and are Irish/English/Irish. Plaza was a graduate of an Catholic all-girls college in 2002. She then attended New York University's Tisch School of the Arts in 2006. When she was in her senior year at High School, she was President of the Student Council at the Catholic school for all girls and participated in Wilmington Drama League performances. In 2004, while in her second year of college Plaza was struck by a stroke, which resulted in her being diagnosed with expressive aphasia. She also experienced a period of paralysis. She is now fully recovered. Plaza began performing improv, sketch comedy and many of other forms at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater New York City in 2004. In New York City She has appeared at The Improv and the Laugh Factory. Plaza was seen as Robin Gibney in E.S.P.N. Mayne St. and in The Jeannie T. Show, as Robin Gibney. Also the premiere episode of Terrible Decisions starring Ben Schwartz. She was the princess in CollegeHumor Troopers, a satirical science fiction roleplay. In 2014, Plaza performed on the saxophone at Cassorla's Bona Fide. The first time she appeared was in Father John Misty's Hollywood Forever Cemetery Sings in 2012. In the year 2016 Plaza was featured on HarmonQuest in the role of Hawaiian Coffee a gnome. The same year she portrayed Aaron Burr In Drunk History and Cat Adams in Season 11 of the C.B.S. TV series Criminal Minds. It was her first time returning for the character in Season 12 of the show. In the year following, it was revealed later that Plaza will play a role in an indie comedy titled An Evening With Beverly Luff Linn.
